Alberto Calderon

Board Treasurer

Alberto Calderon is a seasoned finance systems leader with over 15 years of experience driving operational efficiency, financial compliance, and technology transformation across healthcare, nonprofit, private equity, and startup organizations in the U.S. and Latin America. He began his career as an accountant and auditor. He has a proven track record in leading ERP and FP&A implementations, scaling reporting frameworks, and aligning financial operations with governance, audit, and compliance standards.

Alberto’s leadership roles have included guiding ERP financial systems implementations, overseeing SOX documentation, and supporting pre-IPO compliance readiness for high-growth companies. He has successfully built financial infrastructures that enable multi-currency management, real-time reporting, and audit-ready controls, all while minimizing business disruption during system transitions.

He brings deep expertise in ERP administration, financial reporting, audit readiness, and compliance strategy, complemented by certifications in business analysis, project management, ITIL, and data visualization. Across his career, he has partnered with auditors, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant systems that strengthen both operational performance and strategic decision-making.

Alberto holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and has served organizations ranging from global health systems and nonprofits to early-stage ventures preparing for IPO. His goal is to continue building financial systems that balance compliance and innovation—helping organizations not only meet regulatory and investor requirements but also unlock the financial clarity needed to scale with confidence.
